To get from 34-40 doesn't take long anyway. Probably just a couple of hours doing the basic story missions. The main grind however is then for your light lvls. Again, just grinding out missions is best place to start. Then I'd move onto strikes, before things like nightfall, iron banner, raids. Sorry I can't help as I'm Xbox one. But good luck and have fun.
