It's not a fact that you need to be above someone for landfall to kill.
I've been on the receiving end of 100-0 landfall from warlocks 5~ft away.

I think that guy that hit you was lagging, I've never been hit by it with them that far

Close enough with an unobstructed path that the two or three guys you hope to kill gun you down just as you cast it. Landfall isn't that good. Like all mobile multiuse supers, it has to be started in cover.

Or, you know, over a defender bubble. Nice to have yet another super that can kill me either as soon as it's cast or immediately after my bubble is popped by said super.

If a Warlock can do that, I say more power to them. The beauty of a properly placed and used bubble is that shelters the user and gives them a buff when they jump out to shoot at an advancing enemy. And with the right set-up they can blind an enemy who enters the bubble. EDIT: spelling.

Yeah, and landfall blinds anyone it even tickles, for some reason. So try shooting at a guy that knocked you to 70% hp, popped your bubble, and made you blind. Sure, he may be blind, too... But he just needs to hold R and it'll eventually lock on to you.
