Destiny and Drug use

I'm sorry, I might go into a bit of a rant here. But I've been noticing a trend recently where in every party I join there is at least one and usually multiple people telling tall tails about how high they are. Now honestly, I don't care that you use whatever. Some of the people I regularly play with do some type of drug or another. What baffles me is how some people tend to think they're somehow badasses for having the ability to pop a pill in their mouths. Nobody cares that it's "legal in your state". I'm from holland, do you think we go around advertising our drug use to every random person we meet? Not only does it make you look kind of dumb, but do you even realize there's also younger kids playing this game that might actually think it's kinda cool that you get to stay home all day, smoke weed and play video games while you're ignoring your crying child in the background? I hate to be that guy, but damn, show some dignity.
Ninja Edit: Moved to Destiny.
• I think you're more annoyed with the personality than you are with the drug use. There are responsible and irresponsible users of illicit substances. I liken "drug use" to alcohol consumption. Both are stress relievers for a lot of people. If there are younger kids playing the game, that's not the responsibility of the substance user to watch what they're saying or doing; it's the responsibility of the parent to monitor their minor's online experience and judge whether or not that's an environment they should be exposed to. In terms of the game, it should be inconsequential. If I smoke weed or drop a tab of LSD, I'm probably NOT going to mention it, but the only thing that should matter is the quality of my teamwork. I don't think "LFG" should factor in the upstanding nature of the party members. I understand the overall message you're trying to convey but I would caution against demonstrating an air of pretentiousness when it comes to non-gaming related things. Different strokes for different folks.
