I think people's lack of reading comprehension has obfuscated the post. He's talking about how annoying it is that people detail extra information and speak of it in a way that makes them cool. I drink, I've partied, I've had sex - but do I tell the world and telegraph my every move in some narcissistic way? No So.. yeah. Go do drugs. I didn't care.
