90 percent of the time the coughing is from a bong hit however I don't notice any difference in skill between someone who is high versus someone who is not.

I'd love to see documentation on that. There was actually a study done with the effects of weed and the amounts different people needed to be impaired enough to show impairment on a driving test. Some people were terrible after one dose, others were good for a few more, and an everyday smoker was fine through the total test, until they made her smoke until she was 4x the legal limit, at which point she drove fine but was driving less inhibited and more joy riding and hit a single cone. So not everyone is more likely to get in an accident from smoking. Also, remember that based upon your brain chemistry, some chemicals have different effects on people. Like someone who has a.d.d. Can take an upper and it actually calms them down, but an average person would get hyped up. In far less words, everything affects people differently and being "impaired" may or may not lead to more accidents. I can tell you that stupidity and poor motor skills are the more likely culprits in an accident than most narcotics, one of the most impairing being fully legal which is alcohol.

That's exactly my point tho, stupid people exist in both worlds. As you said, a stupid stoned person is more likely to get in a accident than a stupid sober person, however there is a common denominator there. Stupid. The real question is does a stoned average or intelligent person get in more accidents than a stupid sober person. Also, it's not a matter of being a super human, but rather the body's ability to metabolize a substance. If that makes you super human, then I guess every naturally skinny person is a super human. I think a generalized statement that drugs cause accidents is what I take offense to, it's far more deep than that. It's kinda like saying weather causes accidents, but in reality it is the people's driving habits or ability to drive in adverse weather that causes the accidents. So it is a skill level that determines the likelihood of an accident, not the adverse weather or drugs in this case. Same could easily be said for Destiny players. I've played with people that were so high they could barely form intelligent sentences, but were lights out at the game, and I've played with stone sober people that couldn't hit golgoroth's stomach from the puddle. It's good to be able to look at underlying problems or questions, than to simply make a blanket statement because you can't see past the top layers.

Blanket statements are meant to cover most likely circumstances. The statement that a drug user is impaired fits that criteria. It doesn't matter that some people play really well stoned. Most users would play better sober. I don't really care what others do recreationally as long as it's not harmful to others. Statements about playing better when stoned/wasted are usually BS.

I agree with you there, to each their own, as long as it is their own. When things start to affect others, it does become a problem. I agree that a person is impaired, but that doesn't mean an accident necessarily. I also agree that most people who say they play better is BS, all I'm trying to say is that if you're above average, being impaired may not bring you below average. Lol.
