Hmmm, believes people should monitor their children yet enjoys partaking in illegal activities.
There's a disconnect there I'm just not sure you're grasping.

One has nothing to do with the other, they seem disconnected because they are.

I think the disconnect could be a little closer than you think. Marijuana isn't illegal everywhere.
-
I'm going to assume he lives in the U.S. until told differently. It is still completely illegal in the U.S. under federal law. After about 30 seconds of research I have learned that while it is legal in some countries, it is still illegal in damn near every other country on planet Earth.
-
Maybe he lives in Washington, Colorado, Alaska or Oregon where marijuana is completely legal for recreational use and can be bought in stores?
Maybe he lives in Washington, Colorado, Alaska or Oregon where marijuana is completely legal for recreational use and can be bought in stores?
Completely irrelevant. Marijuana is still illegal under federal laws. Federal law trumps state law. Just because it isn't enforced doesn't mean it isn't illegal.
-
This is the entirety of your arguement? Legally consuming substances you think are bad makes my point irrelevant?
-
That's a really, really stupid argument dude haha. It's legal in those states. Federal law doesn't really matter for average citizens. I'm not really sure why you're even arguing about this anyways.. You're okay with cigarettes and alcohol being sold, both proven to be more harmful and actually have deaths linked to them, yet you seem to be against weed. Why is this?
-
Just FYI: but medical Marijuana is no longer federally banned in the United States once the latest spending bill is signed into law.
-
I sincerely doubt that people eligible for medical marijuana are bragging about smoking pot on forums or in video games. But yes, I am aware of medical marijuana.

Edited by Bungolickstaints: 12/22/2015 5:04:18 PMWell. There are plenty of wacko laws out there. Just because it is illegal or legal does not necessarily make it wrong or right. Pretty sure a cancer patient smoking to boost his appetite yet still raising children would disagree with the "disconnect" that you identify.

I can't tell if you're agreeing with me or not.
