Destiny and Drug use
I'm sorry, I might go into a bit of a rant here.
But I've been noticing a trend recently where in every party I join there is at least one and usually multiple people telling tall tails about how high they are.
Now honestly, I don't care that you use whatever. Some of the people I regularly play with do some type of drug or another.
What baffles me is how some people tend to think they're somehow badasses for having the ability to pop a pill in their mouths. Nobody cares that it's "legal in your state". I'm from holland, do you think we go around advertising our drug use to every random person we meet? Not only does it make you look kind of dumb, but do you even realize there's also younger kids playing this game that might actually think it's kinda cool that you get to stay home all day, smoke weed and play video games while you're ignoring your crying child in the background?
I hate to be that guy, but damn, show some dignity.

If they have the mental capacity of a tic tac and cough into my ears every 6 seconds, then that's not cool. But if they just go with the flow then I'm chill with it. Definitely not something I would waste my time with though.

3 RepliesKids will be kids. By "kids" i'm talking about the guys under 20 or so. Young guys who think it's funny to say how fn ripped they are. Don't take it too seriously, they'll grow out of it. Everyone does...........well, almost everyone lol! If for some reason i were to smoke pot now the last thing in the world i'd wanna do is play destiny. I sure wouldn't tell people i was high but hey, i'm a 35yr old engineer,father,husband. We all grow up and keep things more private, IMO.

6 RepliesAmerica is absurd we do 80 percent of prescription narcotics in the whole world. Most of us are on some kind of drug the government promotes it and feeds it to us like candy. We can't understand that we are the only country that promotes widespread drug use and even encourages it. I'm sorry for America and what we have become. We will rise again to become a better nation one day

i find illegal drugs, controlled substances, and alcohol to be unattractive, even when used in moderation. i definitely do not support the fact that any of that sort of behavior has become cool or acceptable.

I admit I smoke weed occasionally but I don't go around telling people about it. Of course I have some hilarious high stories but I only share those with close friends who were usually high with me.

But as a parent its my responsibility to monitor my child while hes online in case he is exposed to something inappropriate. But this is an mmo people do and say things you may or may not like or agree with^^
