1000 yard stare
Is it just me or is that 1000 yard stare sniper just pretty much aimbot.

You're not wrong; that's all that makes 1000 Yard Stare a 'good gun'; the fact that it aims for the player. Seriously, Trials of Osiris has been hell this week because Frontier is a sniper map and 1000 Yard Stare has been in every match I've played. It's terrible that this gun is meant to be balanced in the eyes of Bungie.
