Well, if you look at the exotics closely, you'll notice that all year one exotics change, and none of the year 2 ones do. I think bungle just wants us to have some time withe exotic as it should look, and after a year, it becomes less special and can be colored

That would be badass if the void could change colors. It was a while before I noticed the outer rim changing colors. Cloaks usually cover it.

You sure about that? I've noticed that some change, but starfire protocol (for example) looks the same to me, regardless of the shader?
