First off, thank you for taking the time to reply as it took me close to an hour to type this from my phone and proof read it. Second, thank you for your well written, intelligent response. I agree with you on a lot of points and understand why you don't like the new events. They aren't for everyone. My question is do you think you'd like an event more like the original queens wrath? I'm definitely wanting more content. I was hoping they would get to a massive public event where a raid level boss would appear. When my friends still played one of out favorite things to do was start up Vog and go nuts on Venus like a patrol. So it got us thinking what if we opened up the fire team space on all patrols to 6? A hard mode version of patrol where you'd have to kill a boss in every area of the planet? There is so much potential and although I like these mini events they are just not enough. It gets repetitive after the 2nd day.

  • I play for pve mostly, there was a time I only played for pvp back in HoW. That has changed throughout my time playing Destiny, Ive been playing since day 1 still here, lol. Now the live events are okay I like Racing much more than Festival of the Lost. On the bright side its a new event on new maps and you can earn gear. I guess I was just looking for a pve type live event, the Sparrow event is a pvp live event. But pve will have its time in one of the upcoming live events, maybe we will work with a gear manufacturer or a new NPC. See sparrow racing was thought out with bounties and gear so there's a lot more substance to it than Festival of the Lost. I just play for fun and gear, Borderlands 1 was one of my favorite games and my friends and I would run Knox's armory all the time to get more awesome gear. I think the pvp playlist screen is well thought-out, there's a ton of gamemodes which is cool. The strike playlists are pretty simple but thats not a bad thing. It would be cool to see some variety, all Vex strikes, all Fallen strike-playlists, or at least mixed playlists so only Vex/Cabal strikes or Hive/Fallen strikes. What has changed for the better in TTK is there's a bunch more reasons for people to run Patrol, 3oC, Ghosts to gain glimmer, glimmer consumables, beacons, bounties, public events reward motes, ??? missions for coins. I always thought patrol had its moments, its not everyones favorite activity but after running strikes for so long I just wanted to play Patrol, thats what happened honestly. AN event like Queens Wrath, yea that would be chill Like I mentioned, they did a good job at making Racing feel substantial with bounties, quests and gear. So whenever we get a pve live event I look forward to a similar treatment. Yea if they designed some new public events for the next live event that would be a great idea. That'd be a lot of fun, patrol should definitely include a fireteam of 6 if this happens. Things do get repetitive in this game, but I find if youre doing too much of one thing and you dont want to be doing that just take a break or find another reason to play. People like myself who enjoy the game just make up reasons to keep playing or loot drops and a good roll is another reason to keep playing. Sometimes when you feel burnt you just have to try something new.

  • The only reason I'm burnt is because most of my friends moved on. I used to have to pages filled in my roster and sadly it's down to 2 names at most. If you're on xbone please add me. I could use a good adventure.
