Behind Natylee, across the street in the ruins of a residential tower, a familiar, electric-blue glow began to form. It was a Wire Rifle charging up to fire. "Get down!" Rai barked out, diving onto Natylee to force her to the ground. A line of luminescent white and blue filled the air where Natylee was just standing, humming as it whizzed by. Rai propped herself up on one knee, whipping out her Scout Rifle, and firing at the source of the shot.
