It had been a week since Lakun'ai and the Fallen that followed him had been regrouped with the House of Wolves. Life aboard the ketch for them was brutal, as they got no respect, and were treated like dirt. Those who fought back were severely punished, as Lakun'ai had come to know. The Wolves knew he wouldn't come quietly, and that he would stir up trouble, and that he did. Eventually, they decided to teach him a lesson he would not forget. Two captains dragged him towards a room, and chained him to a wall by the arms, and raised him up. It wasn't meant to be comfortable. The room itself was separated by bars, and on the other side, opposite of Lakun'ai and the Wolves, sat Aliksis, in the same scenario as him. (( Paar ))

  • Lakun'ai scoffed and couldn't contain his anger. "Cowards!!! Straining me because you fear me!"

  • Wolf 1," Can't we torch his mouth shut? It'd save us the constant headaches." Wolf 2," Skolas was quite specific in what we were allowed to do to him." Both captains propped Lakun'ai up until he barely touched the floor, then the first one laughed darkly, before kicking Lakun'ai in a specific spot that connected his leg to the rest of his body. The force was enough to break it.

  • Lakun'ai let out a roar of pain and agony. All of his followers started to shout in their native language. Aliksis shouted above all the anger. "No! If I was not trapped like a pest, I would have your insides on the floor!" Lakun'ai grew even angrier and attempted to lunge one of his fists at the captain that had kicked him. The chains held him back, but barely.

  • The second captain did the same, to the other leg. They were both laughing cruelly.

  • Lakun'ai groaned painfully. His head dropped down as he had blacked out.

  • Wolf 1," Well shit. He's supposed to be awake for the next part." Wolf 2," Go get something to wake him up. Like an ether pack." The first Wolf captain nodded and headed for the door. As it opened, he was met with the barrel of a hand cannon aimed right at his face. Before he could even react, a bullet went through his skull, and he dropped dead. The second captain went for his gun, but a knife was thrown at his neck, and he died a few seconds later. One Eliksni entered the room. He was of captain size. His cloak was a long faded purple, to the point that it looked greyish, with the crest rubbed out. All of his armour was worn and battle tested. Someone outside, a human, judging from the voice, called for him. ?," Lakir! You got anyone in there?" L," Two non-Wolves it seems. One's knocked out."

  • Lakun'ai still laid out cold. Aliksis however was wide awake, but was frozen with fear and confused about what had just happened.

  • ?," Well come on! We don't have that much time. They only promised us ten minutes." Lakir looked at Lakun'ai, trying to figure out how to get him down without causing any further damage to his legs. Then he turned around and looked at Aliksis. " I'm going to need your help to get him out of here."

  • Aliksis stared blankly. She wiggled her arms revealing that she was chained up.

  • Lakir walked up to the bars. He placed his four hands on the bars, two on one bar. His bottom arms were mechanical. Using his strength, he pushed the bars apart enough for someone to walk through. He stepped over into the other side of the room, and aimed his hand cannon at the shackles. He shot four times, each one expertly landed and pretty soon, Aliksis was free.

  • She fell on her knees next to Lakun'ai. She looked up at Lakir and stayed silent, but had the look of fear and gratitude for being saved. "Thank you..."

  • " We're not out of it yet." He pointed to Lakun'ai. " His legs are broken. I need you to hold him up while I shoot the shackles. Then we'll carry him to one of the hangars, where there should be a ship waiting. But in case things go wrong..... Do you know how to handle a gun?" He pulled out a spare hand cannon from one of his holsters and offered it to her.

  • She was familiar with shock pistols but the hand cannon being offered to her was strange and...different. But she grabbed it regardless and began helping him grab Lakun'ai.

  • Within a few seconds, Lakun'ai was also free. They started dragging him out of the room, and were met by a Guardian. A Warlock. James. J," C'mon! The hangar isn't too far away."

  • Aliksis hurried while she helped hold Lakun'ai. She stared into his eyes and then his legs. She felt sorrow and thought about how they could get him replacements. There's no way he'll go through with it...

It seems that things would not go as smoothly as they hoped, a Wolf patrol was coming their way. One captain, two vandals, and four dregs. Lakir," We should get moving right now."

  • James," In the hangar down the hall..... Shit, they'll catch up to us at this rate. I got him." James aimed his Vex palm at Lakun'ai. Within a few seconds, he started floating effortlessly. James," Lakir, take care of them. You..." He looked at Aliksis. James," Are gonna help me. I have to focus on him, so you'll make sure we don't run into any Wolves."

  • She raised the hand cannon and stared at it with curiosity. Even though it meant danger to their life, she was secretly hoping for a chance to use the hand cannon.

  • They reached the hangar after a short five minute walk with no problem. Once inside, it was a different situation. There was a transport ship guarded by three Guardians. They were getting shot at by twenty or so Wolves, each one dug in behind cover. It was a massive firefight.
