Honestly, I do raids to help me succeed in Trials and Iron Banner. I also do them for the accomplishment factor...it feels good to beat the raid for the 1st time etc. But beating the shit outta mindless AI is only so fulfilling. When you can predict an enemy's movement then it becomes monotonous very quickly, but each team in Trials etc presents a different challenge, be it from dealing with Hammers to dealing with a good sniper/good grenade work. Lets face it, when Dregs and Hobgoblins toss nades at you, they are absolutely horrendous at it.
