Lake takes her hand in his own. He wasn't sure what to expect in the return trip.

Until they are just one shadow. Oddly he can still feel her hand in his but outside of that he... They have no form. When she does speak its inside his head so she tries to be quiet. [/i] R " Prepare yourself , you will hurt quite possibly like you've never hurt before," [i] There is a small shift in the shadows of the room where Switch had been treating Lake. Romii is the first to step out , she leads Lake into the room , and although dimly lit the light is still uncomfortable to them.[/i] [i] Turning to Lake[/i] R " You okay ? " [i] She loosens her grip on him [/i]

Instantly, Lake falls into a kneel, clutching at the area where he was recently healed. He hardly noticed it back in the other realm, but here, it felt like fire. After a few seconds, he finds the strength to stand. Thankfully, he had his helmet on, to hide the immense pain he could feel.

[i]She knows this probably a pointless gesture knowing his drive to push on and finish this. But she felt she ought to at least give him the option of somewhere free from the pain.[/i]
