Here's a question.
How many Guardians here remember Quodron's debut?
Follow-up question.
How many of us killed him before Bungie neutered him?
I totally forgot how much of a pain in the ass this guy was his first week. My group eventually downed him, but it took some elbow grease. A comment in these forums reminded me that he exists.
Always remember.
Lest we forget.
Edit: The creepiest part of Quodron is his grimoire. He's a Vex Gatelord, yeah, but the kicker is that he's in the prison willingly.

The worst part of fighting Quodron the first week he was introduced was the fact that some idiot was DDOSing me while I was trying to do it. My friends ended up waiting a good hour for me to get back online.
-
I hated Quodron. Always got stuck with lfg's who wouldn't do the eye thing correctly. Even after they nerfed him! Well time has now passed and i am stronger. Next time he is up, I'm going back to kick his a$$ Ah revenge.

Gallygallygallygallygallygallygallygally Thats pretty much how it went for me
-
Spent more time beating him his first week than I'd care to admit. After the nerf, he didn't even feel like a real fight
-
Oh man it was really fun the first time my group fought him. The trial and error was amazing. In the middle of it we tried spamming him with Gally shots. Would have worked if we had three (Damnit Cyber). Once we figured out the detainment part it was a little smoother. I used Pocket Infinity and my buddy used Super Good Advice to pop them. One of us was in charge of killing the eye. Our third was dedicated to putting damage on the boss. We had designated Qodron as "Big Bitch" and the eye as "Little Bitch". It took almost an hour that first time, but it was beautiful when we finally took him down. Most of our PoE runs were great, honestly.

what made it such a pain in the booty was having to wait for your super to come back up after a wipe, lol... Trickle is the worst :/
-
I don't know how but we got him in three attempts. We had one of each class. Weapons of light bubble, self rez, and blade dancer with invisibility setup. Gally burned when we could and used shotguns or black hammers for adds or more dps. I remember when anyone was the last guardian we screamed: RUN FOR YOUR DAMN LIFE OR WE KICK YOUR ASS!
-
Beat him and skolas many times pre nerf. The rewards were always shit. Always.
-
done it a minute after reset when no one knew about it. hardest shit ever. took us forever
-
Was annoying af but I got it done
-
I hate the minatour round
-
Qodron, the time consuming
-
I remember two manning him his first week. He wasn't too hard. Just time consuming as heck.
-
Did it the legit way without everyone using gjallarhorn. Kill the eye, break free, and shot the hell out of quodron.
-
It was easy if you had invective for the detainment field
-
I did. It was AIDS. Plain and simple
-
It was horrible due to trickle being one of the modifiers
-
Yeah i remember that jack ass i just used gally like everything else in year 1. i soloed that bastard last time he was in the prison though (after TTK)
-
Omfg i just got over PTSD of that guy
-
I did. Never killed the eye either. Just nighthawk and found verdict. We'd just bust each other out lol then gjally af on qodron lol
-
Gally for the win!
-
Yes and yes.
-
He loves the showers. I had to down him by my self, my team kept the adds at bay while I ice breaked his belly, it was a pain lol. I wonder if I can solo him
-
He was one of the best bosses in PoE and still when ever he pops up on the PoE choices I go and do it again
-
He was a bitch, but it was defiantly fun.

Edited by MAVERICK-MP: 12/14/2015 7:35:07 PMhe was super easy with 3 ballerhorns and a titan bubble.. all i remember is bubble, unload your g-horn, synth, more g-horn, profit.
