Here's a question.
How many Guardians here remember Quodron's debut?
Follow-up question.
How many of us killed him before Bungie neutered him?
I totally forgot how much of a pain in the ass this guy was his first week. My group eventually downed him, but it took some elbow grease. A comment in these forums reminded me that he exists.
Always remember.
Lest we forget.
Edit: The creepiest part of Quodron is his grimoire. He's a Vex Gatelord, yeah, but the kicker is that he's in the prison willingly.

Beat him pre-nerf I cry every time
-
I bet him once legitimately - the other time we had all of use Gjallarhorn + synths. I managed to clutch self-resurrect and finish him off.
-
I did
-
I thought Pre nerf Quodron wasn't that bad. It was a little challenging but they didn't to nerf him
-
Yep, shotguns were the safety net in that fight Gjallerhorn strat didn't work for old gen either
-
Can't even remember the name of the VoG shotgun.. But that thing destroyed
-
Hardest PoE boss by miles not counting skolas
-
A friend and I spent hours trying to duo him
-
Gjallarhorns & bubbles. Never had to do the mechanic against him... just lit him up like a Christmas tree and collected a whole bunch of nothing from the prison.
-
Yep, yep, and Quodron's not locked in the prison with me, I'm locked in the prison with Qodron
-
Lol he sucked. Until 3 gally's and a bubble saved the day
-
Invective to pop bubble, Tracking launcher to dps boss, fatebringer for ads
-
-
Me and 2 finds tried it for 3 goddamn hours. 3! We said alright this is the last time and my black hammer was there to finish it. Great teamwork all around to make it happen. The hardest part was if anyone missed the "Eye" dude only the most ridiculous stuff would break that bubble. The toughest decision I had to make was do I equip Invective to help me possibly break the bubble or Black Hammer to lay the beat down on Quodron. The grimoire is awesome for him.
-
Beat it before nerf 3 fourth horsemans and two triple tap scout rifles with high impact.
-
Killed him on a 32, just used Invective and Jolder's hammer.
-
There's nothing creepy about the grimoire. They explain Vex presence there pretty clearly. I cleared him week 1, didn't want to. Shotguns were 2x buffed before his return and are now back to almost the same damage they were before that buff.
-
Even with Jailbreak it was near impossible to break the bubble without a shotgun.
-
Killed him on his debut day. It was very fun
-
Prison needs a buff Buff prison of elders to lvl 40 Do it Bungie!
-
He was really -blam!-ing tough! I remember my team and I quit the first time we faced him. It was just too frustrating.
-
Some of the most fun I've had was killing him. That was an example of a perfect boss design. But the idiots who whined and complained got him nerfed!

Edited by Llamas: 12/14/2015 9:38:50 PMQuodron actual felt good for a boss. If you slipped up for a second it was a wipe.
-
It's called G-horn
-
Edited by Tamed: 12/14/2015 9:38:40 PMI did it my 2nd try on the first week. Didn't see what was so hard about it. And we did not just blitz hime gjallarhorn either.

The worst part of fighting Quodron the first week he was introduced was the fact that some idiot was DDOSing me while I was trying to do it. My friends ended up waiting a good hour for me to get back online.
