Pre-Nerf Quodron
Here's a question.
How many Guardians here remember Quodron's debut?
Follow-up question.
How many of us killed him before Bungie neutered him?
I totally forgot how much of a pain in the ass this guy was his first week. My group eventually downed him, but it took some elbow grease. A comment in these forums reminded me that he exists.
Always remember.
Lest we forget.
Edit: The creepiest part of Quodron is his grimoire. He's a Vex Gatelord, yeah, but the kicker is that he's in the prison [i]willingly[/i].

3 hours it took our fire team to beat him in that first week, but I reckon a good 40 minutes of that was waiting for supers and heavy synth to cool down lol The next time after the nerf it took our team just over 30 minutes to smash out haha

I never found him difficult. Though, I'd always just burn him with gjallarhorn. The bubbles were easy to get out of with found verdict.

I remember getting kicked from quodron for not having gjallarhorn, only to get it from the crucible later that day.

There's a handful of activities where someone in my regular Fireteam will after a few attempts just say "that's it, I'm out" pre nerf Quodron was one, burn free Skolas was another (wow PoE sucked). Every time those words were said my heart would sink.

He isn't [b]actually[/b] imprisoned. He comes and goes as he pleases. He just has his place there because he foresaw that a powerful Guardian of the Light would enter there and he knew he had to defeat that Guardian.

Took me 2 hours first time before nerf was only person with ghorn den weeks later me and 1 friend 2 manned him was piece of piss bring back the old days!!!!!! Why does no one do any of the old stuff anymore it was the best..... "looking for one more for vog templar cp hard" u had about 30-40 replies cos everyone wanted that cp and everyone wanted to do the raids. It wasnt how good u were u just needed that extra person who most of the time kept dying but you ddnt care, you had a chance at fate bringer.

fought him pre nerf.....fell to him many times prer nerf....(no GJALLARHORN)....

Pre nerf he was the easiest as long as you had 3 gjallarhorns.

I was the eye-spy. I spent my time hunting him down and clearing the shields for my companions.

Pretty easy just nuked him with ghorns

First week he was tough. Only managed to beat him once that week. Much harder than Skolas. Afterwards I found out you could actually burn him with ghorn, which I guess is what anyone who said he was easy that week did. Not criticising, but if you played the fight as intended it was very, very tough until they nerfed him. A bit like Templar when we were all level 28. Difficult to keep adds under control sufficiently to do meaningful damage.

4 RepliesFor everyone commenting how easy quodron was clearly didn't beat him in the first week Nothing could get you out of his bubble. Might have taken a full shotgun round of ammo. Even then you were that close to death it was inevitable death. Hobgoblins one shotted you near enough. And took two rockets alone to kill. He took gallys like they were pillows being thrown at him. This is in my top 3 hardest things on destiny so far. It's in third place

At the time, that was the hardest thing i'd done in destiny. We wiped like 30some times. We didn't use a defender or gallys either.

My team had one guy with Found Verdict be the designated bubble destroyer, once that was sorted, he wasn't all that bad

Beat him on two characters then could not be arsed to complete it on my 3rd.

Took a few attempts but least it was a challenge

He was never hard with a good team.

You could kill him in under 30 seconds with godhorn, but running it without gally was a challenge I won't forget.

Downed every boss their first appearance in poe. Was hoping for a poe addition in ttk. I still hold out hope.

Oh I remember that pain in the ass -blam!-ing bubble me will ya ... Had to carry this guy through the whole thing all he did was due so glad he's no longer my friend..

Me and 1 friend 2 manned him on the first try day one.

It wasn't even hard tho....just had to learn the mechanic

2x Titans ( weapons of light ) , 3x G/Horn ( Wolfpack rounds ) , a lot of jumping in and out of a bubble = Easy down! Thanks for coming !
