Here's a question.
How many Guardians here remember Quodron's debut?
Follow-up question.
How many of us killed him before Bungie neutered him?
I totally forgot how much of a pain in the ass this guy was his first week. My group eventually downed him, but it took some elbow grease. A comment in these forums reminded me that he exists.
Always remember.
Lest we forget.
Edit: The creepiest part of Quodron is his grimoire. He's a Vex Gatelord, yeah, but the kicker is that he's in the prison willingly.

Pre nerf gally to death with ease lol
-
Lol....yeah what about sitting in the waiting room waiting for your supers to be built and heavy ammo synths to reset and going out there to give it a go with bubble and 3 gjallys only to fail and have to wait it out again...smh. Fck that guy.

Working with a team of randoms, we defeated him first day. It is still one of my fondest memories playing this game. Not too many since though
-
Oh god... The bad flashbacks are real
-
It was too easy.
-
Yes and it wasn't hard. Communication and Found Verdict worked wonders!!
-
I soloed him the other week, what was he like pre-nerf?
-
I never really found this battle really difficult. When I first ran it with some friends we wiped 2-3 times then we got it done. I never really understood what was so difficult about this battle. Kill eye, pop shields, and heavy the boss.

Edited by Garret1234: 12/14/2015 6:21:20 PMWe melted him so fast with 42 gally rockets we didn't even know he was hard. Even got imprisoned but 7 rounds from my full auto secret handshake took down the containment bubble even without the buff The secret is to stay in cover until you are about to unload on him
-
It wasn't that bad just did the heavy ammo glitch with icebreaker and melted him ;)
-
He was by far the most difficult thing in House of Wolves. PvE and PvP included.
-
I fought pre nerf quodron with the pre nerf gjallarhorn. The gjallarhorn won.
-
I need to do him once he's up again. Never beat him
-
I admit it took a handful of attempts the first time I tried him "pre-nerf." Once the strategy was figured out and our pickup group had some cohesion, it wasn't bad.
-
Pre-nerf was easy, post nerf was incredibly easy.
-
How'd he get nerfed? I beat him plenty of times pre nerf and ended up stopping when he got nerfed
-
It was a pain in the ass. Especially with random who couldn't kill the eye. But Found Verdict was a beast on the containment fields.
-
Oh God, don't remind me. Please.
-
Edited by Reeky Jones: 12/14/2015 5:08:36 PMWasnt ever hard.
-
Wait when was he nerfed? Me and a former friend used to always 2-man it, and he was the only one with G-horn(;~;)
-
Did that one pretty easily the first week
-

Edited by Rylor Threev: 12/14/2015 4:41:02 PM-WHERE IS THE SILVER GOBLIN?? -I KILLED HIM! *guardian down* -Uhm... Guys I died with the buff -QUICK UNLOAD ALL YOUR FOUND VERDICT SHOTS ON THE PRISION -I'M FREE! *guardian down* -F*CKING HOBGOBLINS! I remember when me and my fireteam first killed him, to find out soon that in a few weeks bungie will nerf him
-
I beat that version once when I was on the PS3
-
Nope! Nope! Nope! Nope! Nope! Nope! Nope! *Runs off the tower*
-
Have to admit the 1st time we beat him we used the Gjally method. This is night a boss I would ever want to face again at pre-nerf level
