Here's a question.
How many Guardians here remember Quodron's debut?
Follow-up question.
How many of us killed him before Bungie neutered him?
I totally forgot how much of a pain in the ass this guy was his first week. My group eventually downed him, but it took some elbow grease. A comment in these forums reminded me that he exists.
Always remember.
Lest we forget.
Edit: The creepiest part of Quodron is his grimoire. He's a Vex Gatelord, yeah, but the kicker is that he's in the prison willingly.

Edited by MAVERICK-MP: 12/14/2015 7:35:07 PMhe was super easy with 3 ballerhorns and a titan bubble.. all i remember is bubble, unload your g-horn, synth, more g-horn, profit.

3 Gallys = dead in 15 seconds.
-
SGA or Invective always worked for detainment trick was to get a rhythm going and make sure to get the first jailbreak goblin - after the first one the rest seem to show up pretty consistent
-
Edited by Ve7n00m: 12/14/2015 7:23:55 PMKilled him the 1st day he was available to try without Gjallarhorn, never bothered with him again after that lol. He was a C U NT
-
It was brutal but we did it. Figuring out that Gjallarhorn to the Eye's head was useful to control when you had the buff, then found verdict to jailbreak, was the key. My group got tired of figuring out what to call him, so we decided that his name was Larry. And we had to find Larry and kill him. Actually worked!
-
My group tried, but we had no idea of the one white Vex we had to kill. So after a while we quit.
-
The Gjallarhorn was a necessity in level 34 and 35 PoE.
-
Edited by ZionFury7: 12/14/2015 7:17:45 PMIt took us 3hrs of Gjallarhorn, weapons of light to down him and one self-res warlock to ensure he stayed down if we all died. He wasn't as tough as Skolas but he was definitely a challenge......
-
I didn't know there was ever a nerf what changed
-
SGA with the jailbreak buff. Killed him prenerf.
-
They should add him to the raid now that's a challenge mode!
-
I did. INVECTIVE BBY. I love it...
-
I'm still butt hurt about that prick. "34 PoE need a bubble titan" I jumped on it, got to the boss "is it really even worth it? guys? *guardians down*" "Alright FTS were skipping to Skolas. He can't possibly be as bad."
-
Edited by Haad: 12/14/2015 7:06:34 PMI can't believe we beat him pre-nerf. It took forever, like 3 hours. On top of that, we never could find the "eye". Sometimes we started the encounter and 20 seconds in he'd be searching for targets. Other times it'll be like 3mins. Crazy. Beat him once before nerf, that was it.
-
"Ok guys lets Gjally burn this son of a bitch" *all 3 fire all of our gjallarhorn shots at his face. *9/10 of his health is still there "Oh god"
-
I still don't have his Grimoire. Never again......that was more hellish trying that without mics than soloing Fears Embrace.
-
4th horseman for shields I remember
-
No. No. Don't speak of that! The POE is home to some of the worst challenges ever...
-
I completed it but kind of did it the easy way. We had 3 with ghallys. Two Warlocks and a Titan with helm of saint. Basically used a synth, and waited until the timer on next synth was ready. Titan ran out first dropped the bubble up front a little ways and then everyone unloaded ghallys in his ass lulz
-
I did pre nerf. The first week he was ever available on level 34. Did with two 32's and one 33. Took an hour and a half. Only one ghorn. Brutal
-
Almost worse than lightswitch skolas
-
Beat it pre nerf but it was a real miserable time
-
We did it but we had 1 warlock with res
-
He was rough
-
It was easy
-
Pre nerf gally to death with ease lol
