Switch and Jaden both became encased in a thick dark cloud of whispering black smoke that seemed to twist and turn like the ocean tides. After a moment or two it dispersed and settled, evaporating into nothingness in the air. Switch and Jaden had disappeared.

A female titan stepped forward from the crowd of surrounding guardians and a addressed Erik. "They're gone, mate. They're safer wherever they are now than they were here. Some trigger finger was bound to snap at some point sooner or later"
