SRL - What The Hell (Share your SRL "Almost snapped the pad" moments)
Post your best SRL WTF and WTH moments.
Was victory ripped from your grasp?
Did 2st cross the line 20 seconds before 2nd place despite being behind the whole race?
Let me set the scene for me own WTF moment
PIcture it, you are three gates from victory, not one obstical in the way, you are in a fierce battle with 2nd place to keep the lead and take the flag.
THREE flags to go, you hit the flag side by side with 2nd place.
TWO flags to go, 2nd place missed the flag and you pull ahead, certain in your victory
Almost at the last flag before the finish line...... no way 2nd can catch you if you hit that flag
2nd place tears past you as if you were going backwards, ignores the last flag and smashed the finish line almost a second ahead
Bug, Glitch, Exploit, Cheat?
Who knows, but bloody annoying!!!

I was pissed. In fact I turned the game off & played some Darksiders 2 & Bloodborn after that so I could tear people apart to make me feel better.

Either trying to do a trick and landing on the ground brings me to a COMPLETE stop and everyone passes me, or people bump me and I go flying off into space. If you get sandwiched by 3or more dudes you're fûcked because they will always destroy your asshole and send you bouncing off the walls like a god damn pinball. If they were going to let you use trick sparrows, they needed to make the landing better. The only reason I'm even playing this garbage is because I'm a absolute sucker for shaders and I really want the midnight lumos shader, but of course I can't get it. Also, why is it that my arcrunner sparrow is COMPLETELY inferior to everyone else's sparrows? No matter what place I'm in people fly by me like I'm not even moving.

I was in the lead in a tough battle with the 2nd place guy on mars. I have a second to a half a second lead. Then the launcher decide it wants me to lose, and launches me to the left, hitting directly on the crack between the flat ground and the hill, thus slowing me down immensely. Guy takes 1st, and I finish 7 hundreths away :(

Being in first and then my screen freezing for 3 seconds and ending up in 4th place

One time I got invited into a group that wanted to boost to get though the quest chain. I was nice enough. I raced all the way through and got to the finish line a full 15 seconds before everyone else. But didn't cross it till I was 4th.

1 ReplyNo its all about when you're first and win by 10 seconds only to be put in 5th for 0 reasons. I eveb stopped to let the others finish and as they went through the teleporter i finished.

First place by a couple seconds, about to finish and my controller dies. Literally was feet from the line. By the time I got my second battery in I think I lost by over 10 seconds.

I was clearly second but it said I got first. Then it put me in the bottom saying I didn't even finish the race. Then I didn't get progress for my class A on Wednesday

1 ReplyWhen you're starting on the third lap and all 5 players behind you catch up and start to pass you like they were just staying back on purpose the whole time to troll me. Seriously, do other players get a speed boost or something at the third lap? I was in 1st place the whole time and all of a sudden they start paying attention or something.
