Post your best SRL WTF and WTH moments.
Was victory ripped from your grasp?
Did 2st cross the line 20 seconds before 2nd place despite being behind the whole race?
Let me set the scene for me own WTF moment
PIcture it, you are three gates from victory, not one obstical in the way, you are in a fierce battle with 2nd place to keep the lead and take the flag.
THREE flags to go, you hit the flag side by side with 2nd place.
TWO flags to go, 2nd place missed the flag and you pull ahead, certain in your victory
Almost at the last flag before the finish line...... no way 2nd can catch you if you hit that flag
2nd place tears past you as if you were going backwards, ignores the last flag and smashed the finish line almost a second ahead
Bug, Glitch, Exploit, Cheat?
Who knows, but bloody annoying!!!

I hit the last gate and it projects me completely sideways at full speed. I try to re-adjust, I try to pull out of it, but Bungie's not having it. I hit a rock, I would say cantaloupe size, and slide on my helmet into the wall on the far right, inches from the finish line. My sparrow begins to morph from the spider bite it received earlier and develops Spiderman hands and sticks to the wall, HARD. By the time I am going the right direction again, I am last. Yeah, it f'd me up that bad. Not to mention it was going to be my 3rd win for the "S" class license. I raged quit.

I had a pretty good lead, and I was using my Ravensteel. I was on Venus, and I was in first on the last lap. I went down and the person was just a little ahead of me. I caught back up and we were neck and neck the last stretch of the race. We crossed the finish line, and I found that I had lost by .200 seconds. Would've been my first win

1 ReplyI hit a rock that was about 2 inches out of the ground. I then proceeded to go 10 feet in the air and flip over 15 times (I counted). WTF

I intentionally missed every gate and didn't even finish the 3rd lap. Came in last and still got a 290 something helmet and blue engram. Crucible rewards as usual. ;D

1 Reply8 games in a row where I've watched everyone get a shader or gear and I've gotten a blue engram. 6 first place 1 2nd and one 4th. No matter what I get shit. It's infuriating me

Was about to complete the quest. Was in 1st place and 5 feet from finish line. Hit a gate that sent me flying into a wall. People pass me up. I finish in sixth and have to do another race to finish quest.

I love how many invisible objects seem to find their way on the track when i'm in the lead. Oh well at least I finished the questline. Too bad the one legendary sparrow I got that tess can sell was exactly the one I thought looked the worse.

Worst WTF moment- got bumped going into the jump on mars before the fans, land on my side and begin spinning for (no joke) 25 seconds. Best WTF moment- same jump. Guy bumps me going into the jump, I cartwheel out of control, bounce off one of the uprights, and land in front of him.

The fact OD is pathetic. The made the raid sparrows useless. The pay for sparrows out boost me and muscle me. The move me out the way. Also, invisible rocks. The stop or slow me down, the have the front end stuck in the air for 2 seconds. It's hard to run away with the lead. I understand they make it hard to do, but when I'm going along, then bam someone is moving me out of the way to take the lead.

Had first place almost entire way through End up in last after sparrow was destroyed Come through and finish in second Literally everyone besides me got a horn, shader, or legendary drop. I got a blue engram. Yes, I'm salty.

Was coming 1st right at the end of the Mars course and got hit to orbit by the Phalanx. By the time I got back down I was 5th and landed behind a railing and couldn't get out until I jumped off my sparrow.

First to last because someone else got under me at a boost gate and I went flying into the air slowly floating down

I was hit from behind immediately after race started, flipped 5 times, blew up then I was kicked from destiny. It was so crazy I wasn't even mad.

Done a ton of races on Venus without an issue on the large cliff, except when I tried to push a trick and landed upside down. One race I'm in second and catching the leader. I go off the cliff as normal and land in an area I've landed in dozens of time. For no apparent reason my sparrow explodes.

1 Reply1 WTF- came off a ramp on the Venus, and started tumbling. Lasted for at least 5 seconds. Went from 2 to 6 and no way to catch up. 2 everyone else going WTF- was 6 on the Mars map till lap 3. And somehow I pasted everyone and won.

I do my usual side booster dodge. The fan stops....... *guardian down *guardian down *guardian down *guardian down *guardian down *guardian down OP fan wipes out the entire mob of racers, then the patch kicks everybody.

First place when I hit the man-cannon on Mars. It didn't give me enough momentum and i fell. When I respawned I was dead 6th

End of race on Mars. Suddenly mine goes of as I turn the final corner after turbine wheels. Blinded for unatural amount of time. Opponent drives past. I cry. Second place for me.
