Am I the only one that sometimes doesn't make the jump on that mars map right before the huge rotating Halo 2 fans?

It's worse when someone is lagging and causing the fans to jerk in unexpected ways.

Had that happen to me. Oh cool the fans aren't spinning as I approach bam they move and I die. What the freak is that bs.

Yeah, one just appeared in front of me just as I was about to pass. That knocked me into 5th place.

Is that what causes them to start, stop and then suddenly accelerate? Saw that once last night.

Probably. It only happens when there are laggers in the race.

Do you have the helmet that lets you pitch the sparrow forward and fall faster? That messes me up all the time.

Ditto, I have needed to retrain how I drive the sparrow due to that!

Yeah. Took me a bit to realize it. Once you figure out pitching, it REALLY helps.
