He Blinked out of the way, firing a Shadowshot at the two of them, anchoring them in place, and summoned his Golden Gun, which was alight with green flame. He shot each Aries with two shots each.

The clone disappeared. The real one morphed his body to dodge the shots.

He threw two knives, both striking Aries in the chest. A group of Taken Captains appeared.

He pulled the knives out. Two portals appeared in front of him. Hive Knights appeared, and in numbers. They combatted the Taken. As for Aries, he gained his movement back and formed a sword in his hand before charging the Guardian.

A bare metallic hand firmly grasped Aires' sword-wielding wrist, abruptly stopping him in his tracks and stamping on any momentum he had just regained. Glowing boiling red hot with radiant solar light, the grasping hand rapidly began to singe and burn away at Aries' tainted flesh, the unbearable temperature warping the whole wrist down to the bone and forcing Aries to drop the sword. The dark blade clanged against the ancient street road as drops of boiled molten flesh splashed around it. A vile necrotic odour filled the air like poison. "Sting a little?"

A fist sprung out of Aries' shoulder and connected with Switch's face, sending him reeling backwards. " My attention needs to be on the other one. Not you. But I will give you a fine substitute." A clone appeared between Switch and the real Aries, but this was more than just a copy. It was thinner with longer limbs, and the armour seems to have melted to the flesh. There was a giant crack on its helmet, right where the mouth would have been. It was curved into a giant smile. What was seen in the crack, were giant, sharp teeth. All along the clone's body were faces, all with the grievously long smile with sharp gigantic teeth. " I'll give you a hint. This one bites." The clone sprung on Switch, snapping it's disgusting mouth at him, trying to just rip apart.

After a short and awkward struggle, Switch broke free of the abomination's sharp grasp by continuously singeing and burning it in numerous places between its armour plating in order to weaken its stance. He pushed away from the clone, putting his hands against the creature's twisted face and stuffing a fusion grenade into it's mouth. He blinked clear of the blast just as it blew the clone's head clean off and caused it to gruesomely dissolve into dark ash.

It formed back, but didn't attack at first. This time, two of the faces on its back grew and stretched, like tendrils, giving it medium range attacks. The two faces lunged at Switch, each one biting down on him. One latched onto his shoulder, and another to his hip. The atrocity then used the tendrils connecting them to spring itself forward. It was aiming to finish off Switch with one bite to the neck.

[spoiler]sincere apologies for the late reply. I had school and was dissecting rats. No seriously. It smelled awful but was awesome too[/spoiler] In a split flash, just as the tendrils bit down on Switch, his ghost summoned a void sword in his right hand. He allowed the abomination to drag him towards its gaping maws, and just when it was about to land the final bite, Switch lunged out with the sword and swiped it across the creature. The sword's void-tainted edge connected with the clone's neck and sliced soo cleanly through it you couldn't even see a cut line. The tendrils grasping onto Switch loosened their grips and fell flaccid against the ground as the the creature just stood there emotionless and still. Switch calmly raised his sword-free hand and aimed his palm in the clone's direction, and with a swift forward pushing motion of his hand in the air, the creature's body blinked out of reality, only to reappear and smash at high speed into a crumbling wall 15 metres behind it. It's head had not blinked with the rest of the body, and so it floated there for a moment before falling to the ground like an ugly rock, cleanly severed.

The severed body did not move at first. Then, as if it had just come back to life, the faces on the body all leapt forward. This time twenty tendrils, each with enough teeth to cut through Titan armour, raced towards Switch. As for the creature itself, well, it was laughing. It's voice was high pitched and sounded more like a screech. [i] I love it when my food fights back! I can't wait to sink my teeth into you again![/i]

[spoiler]shit. My motifs don't work anymore ;-;[/spoiler] Switch's ghost dematerialised the sword as he generated a lancing Nova bomb in his hands, before releasing it at high speed straight into the creature. Screeching through the air almost as painfully as the abomination itself, the bomb flew straight through the rallying tendrils, leaving a glowing purple entrail like a scar in the air. The purple void light connected with the clone's chest in an instant loud and bright explosion. Within a split second, the creature and its flailing tendrils had fully dissolved into purple dust and ash, enveloped by the void itself. Switch turned to James, Lake, and Lakir. "You three gonna help, or what? I thought this was your fight mainly"

The three of them were in a fight with other apparitions of Aries. The one in front of Switch retaliated. [i] Don't focus on them! Focus on feeding me![/i] It broke free and charged at him. From behind Switch, a Dark mass formed, and tendrils shot out and wrapped themselves around his limbs, restraining him.

Without so much as a single uttered word, Switch blinked free of the dark grasps, reappearing mere metres in front of where he was restrained. The dark tendrils hadn't yet reacted to Switch's sudden shift, and were still wrapped and distorted as if they were holding the limbs of a ghost rather than an actual person. Switch allowed the second clone to charge him, waiting for the right moment. Just as it lunged at him, he jolted to one side out the way and simultaneously brought his arm up to the clone's neck level in a sort of karate chop fashion. Switch's grasp linked directly with the charging clone's neck, who was immediately immobilised by the sudden high impact. Switch then proceeded to pick the clone up by its neck and throw it with all his strength directly into another incarnation of Aries currently engaging James.

Both clones disappeared before reappearing. Switch found himself getting weaker. [i]Too bad.... I made a nice appetiser from your Light. Now I have to finish the meal![/i] An attack on all sides occurred as the tendrils with the biting faces rushed towards Switch, surrounding him completely.

Using most of what energy he had left, Switch activated his stromtrance and called down a roaring bolt of arc light. Rocketing down from the clouds and coursing straight through him, the lightning blast engulfed the area directly around Switch in a torrent of voltage and power. Tendrils that were not immediately singed or vaporised by the sheer current became stunned. Switch used this to his advantage, sending arc lightning from his hands in some of the remaining tendrils to break a hole in their defences and burst through. Switch pelted straight for a nearby building which his ghost had been surveying, using his ionic blink to out manure any pursuing dark incantations. Deactivating his storm trance prematurely to conserve light, he jumped through a broken shattered window and ran out of sight into the building.

The Hunter did formed his own sword. He slid under Aries, jumping backwards and thrusting upwards with his sword.

Aries dodged backwards, before jabbing at him, aiming for the chest area.

He parried the strike, grabbed the blade, and slammed his knee into it, breaking the blade in half. He spun in a quick circle, slicing open Aries' stomach.

What flew out of his stomach was a cascade of black tendrils. They made a grab for the Guardian's face. Once latched on, they started draining him of his energy. As for Aries, he swung the remains of his sword down onto the Guardian, going for the head.

The tendrils started to catch fire, one by one. The Hunter's power was too great. They slowly burnt up. He kicked at the source of them, dodging away at the last second.

A fist connected into the Guardian's face, sending him flying to the right. Aries out distance between the two of them.

'Scared? I would be, too. If I was fighting a Taken Guardian.'

" Rearing up for my next attack rather."

'Hit me with your best shot.' The Taken Hunter half crouched, holding his fists up.

" With pleasure." In his hand, he balled up physical Darkness. It started rotating in his hand at incredible speeds. Just when it looked like he couldn't control it anymore, Aries made his move. " Taken or not. You'll feel this one." Aries moved faster than ever before, almost invisible. He aimed the ball of Darkness forward and it connected with the Guardian's stomach. The force of the rotation ripped his armour apart and sent him spiralling backward through a wall.

Edited by Indubitably: 12/11/2015 3:02:58 AMHe lay there for a moment, then got back up. His armor slowly regenerated onto his body. 'Was that a hit or a kiss on the cheek?' While his armor was being rebuilt, his veins bulged with a green liquid. His skin sparked and he burst into flames. He grabbed a nearby clone by the neck and it slowly was corrupted, turning green and withered. It crumpled into a pile of ash. It couldn't be brought back. 'Your Darkness is appreciated.' The Hunter slowly walked toward Aries, doing the same thing over and over to any clone that got in his way. When he reached the real one, his helmet finally regenerated, covering his face.
