Ok. Glad you saw your folly and agreed and laughed it off. Because it is. Just like Guild Wars.

What shade of turd did decorate the cave you live in?
-
What time did the short bus drop you off at home today? It's an Instanced MMO. Always has been. Always will be. Plain and simple. Get over it.
-
You get over it. Nobody told you to jump in with your gibberish.
-
Get over what? You being wrong and the OP and myself being right? That's hard to get over when there's nothing to get over... I can't help being right.

An MMO needs way more content and more support. Also the makers of the game don't call it an MMO, if they don't think it's an MMO what makes you think it is? Because it's online? Please.
-
You've never played an MMO and don't know what one is or that there is more than one kind of MMO. That's evident. And that's ok. Just quit pretending to be an authority. It's an instanced-world MMO. And traditional persistent-world MMOs are moving towards instancing and have been for a decade. You need only look at World of Warcraft. All dungeons and raids, the content, are instanced. No competition for mobs in them. Like Guild Wars, the economy and storyline are what's persistent. Worlds evolve, rather than being frozen in time like a persistent-world MMO. There's social areas, and people are placed there not by choice, as an "online" game does. ArenaNet also avoids the MMO term for Guild Wars. But it's an MMO. The term has negative connotations. Notably, subscription fees and massive time-sinks are huge negatives that the very name drives people away from instantly. You saying it is not does not change what it is. And what it is, is an MMO. End of discussion.

Mmo is short for massive multiplayer online. If 3 people or 6 people make it massive then cod is an mmo. Get rekt scrub.

Edited by Get2DaChoppa81: 12/4/2015 11:14:09 AMYou're retarded and clearly have also never played one. In those MMOs your actual groups are limited to 5 and 6 people at a time - so you're entire premise just got 'rekt' you ra-ra-retard. In instanced MMOs, parties may be restricted even more and population in zones is capped. There is a virtual economy that all share in, there are social hubs. People are not in those zones with you by choice, as they are in your regular online games, joining you or lobby - they're placed there by the game without choice, an MMO feature. There is this thing called google where you can search the term 'instanced MMO' and educate yourself before you reply next time and look stupid. Stay in school, your dim future needs as much help as possible.

Wikipedia was easily the most informative but https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massively_multiplayer_online_game Get rek'd scrub.

Edited by Get2DaChoppa81: 12/4/2015 3:33:48 PMOk. Since we're using that as a source and you didn't take my advice and educate yourself before replying... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Instance_dungeon http://mmos.com/mmo-terms#I http://guardianlv.com/2014/06/mmorpg-open-world-and-instanced-world/ Since you also didn't educate yourself on Guild Wars; see also: Phantasy Star Online, Warframe, Dragon's Nest. Educate yourself. Stay in school.

Before you talk shit you should probably fact check http://geekdictionary.computing.net/define/instance Instanced mmos by yout definition would be that the entire game is separate from other players, meaning patrol you would be all alone unless in a party.... Aka not an mmo then. However the true definition is that some games (albeit very rare) the entire world is not instanced and no matter where you go you can run into other players. Most mmos have instancing for the obvious purposes.. And before you try to be a smartass I could have posted several links that were not Wikipedia as well as wikipedia. I'll brb with a link for the definition of mmo.
-
Edited by Get2DaChoppa81: 12/4/2015 3:43:33 PMNo. Instanced MMOs place people in the "open world" by design, not by choice - that very fact is what makes them an MMO, the lack of choice in who is sharing your world. They don't need to be in a party. That would be Diablo 3, where only people that choose to join you show in your world. Again, educate yourself. Guild Wars is an MMO that does this exact thing. Social spaces. Missions exclusive to you. Open world "patrols" where other players exist outside of your party, sharing the instance. Get. A. Clue. Your attempt to merely get the last word is rather pathetic.

Wow you really are special aren't you? You tell me to google it, I did, I presented my google results and now youre telling me Google is lying. Good job kid want a cookie? Keep throwing your wallet at the screen, you sheep.
-
Edited by Get2DaChoppa81: 12/4/2015 5:19:35 PMI'm not throwing my wallet at anything. It cost me 0 dollars to prove you wrong, consistently and undoubtedly. And sheep? I'm correcting what is the incorrect assumption amongst the larger group of fools that don't even know what MMO stands for. What type of dumbass response was that anyway? The dumbest possible reply ever, as if we're spending money and you are the one in the herd. What a total derp you are.
-
Tl;dr...the only one pretending to be an authority is you. Stop pestering me, don't you have some spider man comics to read kid?
-
Edited by Get2DaChoppa81: 12/4/2015 3:41:54 PMYou're an infant. That's the only defense you have to being wrong? Calling a 34 year old man that's put you in your place a kid? Get a clue. Research Guild Wars you tool. I've given you all the information you need. Don't choose to be ignorant... You'll end up voting republican like the rest of willfully ignorant dummies in this country.
-
You again?! I told you to stop pestering me. It wassuggested that you're a child because nobody cares about your opinion or if you're a democrat or independent. You keep insist that your wrong assumption about a game is fact when you have nothing to base your opinion on except its similarity to MMOs currently available. At 34 you are still ten years younger then me, so don't act high and might about it. You post ridiculous statements like I've never played an MMO and strung out all manner of speculation just because I disagree. I've played MMOs before and there is nothing "massive" about destiny. So thanks for your input and have a nice life, or don't it makes no difference to me.
-
If he's the kid, then be the "mature" one and stop replying to him lol. If you're so much better than him then you need not waste your precious time on him. Plain and simple
-
Yeah, I did that an hour ago bud.
