I think it's more that it'll be packing up the current set of emotes, making them into essentially an engram, in order to make room for a new set of emotes/other such things. So if you want the baseball gestures, or the taunt, or the slow clap, or anything like that. After the new update, we'll get a new batch of emotes to peruse.
