how it works: as you progress through the story, a veteran helps you out. you are able to complete the story at the highest difficulty, netting you more xp and that will help you level faster. you will be able to be carried through things that would generally be too difficult. once you reach the minimum level for activities, you will have a friend to keep you alive and fight along side you. you won't have to beg for higher level players to take you with them to do the nightfall or attempt to do things with a fire team of too weak players. If you partner up with a veteran you have a quest line specific for the two of you- you complete this and you get new rewards specific to that quest line. you also get an inside track to older raids the veteran has run about a million times and can complete with their eyes closed- so that will help you too. running it with a vet mean you don't have to hear "YOU'VE NEVER DONE VAULT OF GLASS????". joining up with a vet is like your own personal tour guide through destiny. any other questions my psn is mtopia- PS4
