He hung up and looked at vapor "shes coming. Dont run from her please." He sighed and sat on a rock

"I don't want to talk to her," he said.

"Why? Shes your freind. You cant ignore your freinds like that. She dosent want this for you." He decided to pull something that he hoped would hit a soft spot in vapor "if you acctually liked her like she said you did you wouldnt ignore her"

"Looks like you should." Alex said as he walked up, positioning himself beside Duvanix.

"I don't think we've met before..." Vapor said to Alex.

"Hes a freind of mine and Autumns. Just talk to her when she arrives alright?"

"Sure thing." Alex said as he scouted out the fellow. "So what's its name?"

"Fine. I don't understand why she wants to," Vapor said, seeing Autumn walk up. "Vapor. Why are you running off?" she asked. "Because I want to," he responded. "It isn't good for you to spend weeks out here at a time, you should try to make some new friends."

Duvanix sighed as he watched the two talk. 'I thought vapor liked her. He has a funny way of showing it!' He thought

"I'm done trying to make friends!" Vapor yelled, upset. "Friends make you weaker. They distract you. They leave you and die, and leave holes in your heart afterwards." "I'm sorry Vapor. If there's anyway I can help-" "Leave me alone. I just want to be alone," Vapor interrupted. "We could try and rescue our friends, and be a big group like before," Autumn said. "They're gone, Fall. Every one. Oryx killed them and destroyed their ghosts. He spared me because he saw that I was strong, and thought he could use me."

Duvanixes eyes flared up as he grew more frusterated "he wants to live alone, I say let him! He cant see that other people acctually care about him! I will not sit here and watch him treat you like dirt!"

"Vapor, you need to try," Autumn said. "I have tried. Multiple times. I'm done Fall. Everyone I've met except you and the others leave or die," Vapor said to her. "Come on Vapor, it's not like you keep a list-" "Yes I do. Comet, Lilanth, Exdee, Junper, Yukki, Sacchi, Ryan, Chitoge, Onodera, Kosaki, Brid... should I go on?"

He thought 'should I say anything about the files I found on the dreadnaught? Nah! He thinks they're dead, let him think that or at least let Autumn try to calm him down first.'

"What? They... they can't be dead," Autumn said, visibly upset.

"They aren't. Oryx wouldnt kill what he would be able to take. Ever. He would torture them however." He smirked at vapor "clearly you just gave up because I have cabal intel. that says your freinds are alive. And the cabal are almost never incorrect on prisoner counts."

Vapor looked at him. "Fair enough. Their bodies still live, but their minds are lost. They can't form a single sentence anymore," Vapor told him.

"THEY CAN'T BE SAVED! I KNOW ABOUT HE TOMB HUSKS, AND THEY CAN'T HELP THEM! I KNOW ABOUT ALL OF THE ASCENDANT REALMS, ALL THE WAYS WE MIGHT BE ABLE TO SAVE THEM! I TRIED EVERY ONE!" Vapor yelled at Duvanix.

He didnt flinch "fine have it your way! Im still going to do everything I can to bring back her freinds! I hate seeing her sad over them! Im not giving up! I will go through oryxs hardest defense's alone if I must! I will not see Autumn like this anymore!"

"Go ahead. When you die that will hurt her more than any loss her friends could cause her."

He didnt say anything he just looked at Autumn then at Vapor "I will not die. I will kill the daughters of oryx and bring your guy's freinds back."

"No need. I'll save you the trouble," Vapor said, his ghost dropping 4 tomb husks. "Again, I already tried."

"You didnt unlock them." He kicked the dirt in frusteration "I dont care anymore if there really is no way to save them I will just give up to!" He looked at Autumn "im sorry.... I guess Vapor and I both tried."

"It's... okay. I think I need time to just... think. I just wanted you to visit the tower at least one a week," Autumn said to Vapor. "I can do that," Vapor told her. "Ha. I just realized I'm the last person to know your real name," Autumn said, wiping away tears.

He sighed and looked out twoard the rocket yard not knowing what he should do.

"Goodbye, Autumn," Vapor said as he walked away. Duvanix thought he saw tears as Vapor ran towards the Rocketyard.
