For those who said shotguns take more skill:
Do snipers have a large burst cone that one-shot body-shots?
Do snipers have a large circle that tells you exactly where you are aiming?
Do snipers repeatedly get nerfed every monthly update?
Do snipers easily and reliably kill at close range EVERY TIME?
If you said no to all of these, and you chose shotguns to have more skill, then you are arguing with yourself. If you said yes to all these questions and you chose shotguns, then you should probably go down to GameStop or something and [b]ACTUALLY PLAY DESTINY[/b]

If you learn how to use, you can snipe people are very close distance, sometimes without needing to zoom down your scope. 3) No, but what does that prove? People just bitch. Like they bitch about everything that challenges them, especially here on the forums. 4) no, but do shotgun easily and reliably get kills at long distance? Sniper can kill at both ranges. Shotguns can't. Your last argument is very feasibly an argument. It is more of an opinion than a fact. Atleast shotgun users don't spend their time headglitching.

Btw, wtf is a headglitch? Is it where your brain glitches out and makes you think shotguns require more skill than a sniper? I'm not saying that shotguns don't require any skill, I'm just saying that in most situations, they are just really easy to use

But to better prove my point, go into the crucible with a shotgun only, see how many kills you get, then go into another game with a sniper and see how many kills you get with that.

I use snipers almost every time I play crucible and I have never seen the dot you are talking about (except for when you sprint), plus when you aren't scoping, bullets do not fly straight forward, they angle off into different directions

Take a very small piece of paper and stick it to the t.v. You will always know where your ADS is at, and, therefore, with practice, you will be able to pull off quick scopes at very close range. I played with sniper when I first bought the game. Titans weren't the best at using shotguns against blink shotgunners. I also hated getting sniped by people at ridiculously close ranges, so I learnt everything there was about them. I know that snipers heavily rely on high aim assist and headglitching to get ahead. I hardly call that skill.

When you arent scoping with a sniper, the bullets hardly go straight.
