So synths
Are they people also the way they are made with synthetic human parts not metal are they not human because they lack a "soul" or because they are not created the same?
Edit: You meet a synth in real life it's being hurt to a point where it's crying for help. Do you help it/she/he?

Since I am the director of the institute I'd let some synths live free and use them for study.
