So I'm a Hunter main with some experience on a Warlock.
Finally made my transition to Titan.
Any advice or tips from the Day 1 Titans for me?
I mean I have already discovered the fabled "Trex" style martial arts.
But so far it's ALOT of fun.

2 words: increased control Been titan skating since The Dark Below. It got hella famous recently though which kind of sucks, now titan skating might be under the nerf radar.
-
And here I thought I was the only one. *phew*
-
Defender no back up plans, strength build, chaperone, profit
-
Spam hammer boost stats. At least till the nerf
just kidding spam flash bangs though
Learn to skate and play striker
-
Went from starting as a Titan to putting more hours into my Warlock...I've yet to feel at home with my Hunter like I have with my other classes.

If you run shotgun already then you need No Backup Plans + Defender w max strength and agility. It is the only way to make use of the Titan melee in PVP. Add the MIDA to extract extra tears.
-
Use bubble

Edited by Sobieske: 11/28/2015 7:11:13 PMOne thing: defender with illuminated weapons of light. If you have gunskill, youll rip shit up in pvp. (And pve too depending on what you use.

I got one word for you. "SUN BREAKER!!!!!!"
-
Titans and hunters are worlds apart. It's easy to be good with a Titan, it's very hard to be great. Solar? Use the sticky grenade and get good with it. Striker? Dude just pvp Defender? Awesome support class. Learn where and when to place your bubble. And get the helm of Saint 14.

Edited by Make Believe: 11/28/2015 6:20:55 PMTake self defense classes - Ward Of Dawn Prepare for close range combat - Striker Bully Gangsters with Power Overwhelming - Hammer of Sol Luckily you won't have to endure Y1 Titan Pain in crucible as HoS evens out the playing field. But that doesn't stop you from being the largest target on the map. The assaults will be brutal. But now your PVE crutch of the year. Have fun

I did the same. The most important thing to learn is if you want to raid, level up defender. Sunbreaker can be good too but weapons of light can't be beat.
-
Build defender first Then solar hammer Then striker Reason for defender first is so you can do pve content And be raid ready. To boost your light level and get rewards faster (Nobody needs a striker or solar hammer in a raid) Solar hammer for some parts of raid is ok but ultimately defender is a better choice

Edited by Racebum: 11/27/2015 10:29:33 PMplay all 3 and stop "maining" which subclass you level 1st should depend on what you play more. defender is extremely valuable in pve team events, sunbreaker is the best pvp subclass. striker ...well it's just kind of left out in the cold

Welcome to Destiny's hard mode PvP Next you should try challenge hard mode pvp.
I'm talking about maining a defender
-
Titan skate is very good and you need to start leveling up the bubble from the beginning and I suggest maxing that out before you even do hammers. Bubble is the best thing for everything pve especially raids. You can easily level up the hammers later by using the exotic mark that makes it level up 25% faster and going into crucible or just messing around on daily and strikes. Also, keep higher light gear on a different character so you can infuse it into your Titan's gear to boost you up to higher light armor.

Defender+Relentless+No Backup Plans+Monte Carlo+any shotgun= hella good time
-
Learn to Titan skate and try to get good with defender, it might be boring at first, but once you understand it you can destroy in both pve and pvp
-
if you play mostly pvp use sunbreaker obviously, but if you like pve better, level up your defender as fast as you can
-
Striker + helm of inmost light=FUN
-
Use Striker. It's amazing. By which I mean using the Melee ability will clear a large group. And the Super is great.
-
Don't play sunbreaker
-
do whatever you want dont let those dudes judge you what to play this is your titan you decide what to do with him
-
Welcome to the order. A true Titan is honorable, noble, and courageous. You must learn these traits if you are truly to become one of us. Each subclass is equally important, and your role is to shield and protect your team using brute force. You have been blessed, use your power wisely.
-
Learn to play Defender. It is legit the true-skill class in Destiny.
Not going to lie, if you just go straight to Sunbreaker, I'm going to be a little disappointed in you.
