Most of the kids on here don't care because like you say, they don't pay the bills. But if they think buying Silver isn't going to make things like the Vex Chronospanner happen that much faster they're fooling themselves. Then that opens the door for other games and other companies because "Hey, Bungie did it in Destiny..." Do you think for a minute that Ubi wouldn't do the same with Assassin's Creed? Look at Halo 5: http://www.nowgamer.com/microsoft-is-making-hella-cash-from-halo-5-microtransactions/ This is a dangerous road and Silver is only encouraging it. I didn't even spend the 400 "free" silver I was given.

Ubisoft has already done it with Assassin's creed. Even the new Tomb Raider is doing it. The real gamers who care about the industry are losing the battle to the casuals who blindly throw money at the screen.
