I paid 20 for the most emote money and bought a ton. What is 20 bucks? It cant even buy two drinks at a bar not even considering tipping.20 cant buy 1 good main course at most restaurants, 20 cant buy a fairly good bottle of wine, 20 bucks isnt even enough to park your car for a day in S.F., 20 cant buy a new video game, 20 bucks CAN buy a meal for two at mcdonalds and leave you with 3 dollars.....
So if you want to ruin your health and have 3 dollars to spend on what..... two candy bars???? Then dont buy emotes.
btw you want a head to head reply to your post? fine.... for most people that play destiny it is a full on hobby. Just this game. Most hobbies like sking, mountainbiking, motorcycling, boating, etc etc etc cost thousands and tens of thousands of dollars potentially. and you spend much less time on those hobbies than most here do with destiny.
Again if you read this you are likely hard core destiny
which means hour for hour and dollar for dollar buying emotes is probably under five cents a day if a daily player.

try that with motorcycling

I like your post. But a part of me is sad now because destiny is my hobby. But those other hobbies sound so much more healthy. You got me rethinking my life choices now Sir.

Where do you live that a McDonalds meal costs $17?! I work at a bar and a beer is like $4-$6. I don't know wtf you're talking about.

Mcdonalds for two is always 15 bucks or more plus tax for TWO as I stated. In northern CA and who orders a friggin beer in a bar in norcal???? btw a light beer in a bar from SF down through san jose is about 8 bucks. FOR A LIGHT BEER...... btw for clarity a normal cheapy 1 bedroom apt in most areas is about 2200 per month. in a gated apt complex its skying over 3000. a room for rent anywhere in bay area is about 1000 per month. for a single room

Damn, that really sucks man. Gas up here is pretty tight in ND because of the oil. Terrible and outdated houses going for $200k. Apartments want $1000 a month. But the oil moved west I believe. No one can pay for their housing in Dickinson anymore.

Damn. North Dakota. Yea thats a foreign country compared to Northern CA. Probably mostly white people there too. I am white and literally a minority in San Jose. Its cool though. Hot chicks of all colors everywhere and most in shape too.

There's a lot of Native Americans. But since the oil boom it's a lot more different kind of people. I personally love this. I enjoy hearing about their countries and their stories. There is an Indian man who debates with me every Friday at the bar. Very nice here
