To the children who buy emotes

You're literally paying real life money for your character to do a 2-10 second action. You cannot justify this. You can make excuses and I'll post your excuses for being a child using their parents credit card below. When you pay for emotes you are showing AAA companies that they can take stuff out of their game that better games give for FREE and sell it. I understand the type of audience who buys silver....and that audience is classified as the casual gamer. Not real gamers. I love how I make a spelling mistake because I'm human and since you guys have no real valid arguments to make you choose 1 grammatical error. Only proves my point that you don't know how to spend money wisely. Excuse #1: It's my money. Excuse #2: I make (put exaggerated amount of money made per year here) and I can afford it. Excuse #3: Don't worry about my money! (They know they're wrong and are trying SO HARD to justify something that just isn't justifiable). Almost 50 replies and only 3 poor excuses have been made. Proving my point again.... I think you guys have tired yourself out. I just had to sit through the snot nosed kids coming in trying to justify purchases for EMOTES...I legit think I have cancer now. Thanks Density. To the kids who think that I'm poor...I make well over 250k a year. Money aint nutin. Because I know you guys still can't come up with any good logical reasons as to why you pay for emotes other than you like Bungie screwing you over. Still waiting on that person but I'm starting to lose hope that there will be someone who can explain it logically. SOMEONE FOUND A LOGICAL REASON TO GET AN EMOTE!
Because Microsoft paid for it by giving me codes worth $5-$10
You guys disagreeing with facts have produced more salt than every single salt factory in the galaxiez.

  • You're retarded, if I want to spend my money on this game, I'm sure as hell am not going to consult anyone about my decision. Go be a communist some where else and leave the free market alone.

I don't care much for the emotes, I may or may not purchase some but should I decide to, why do I need to justify it to you or anyone else? And as for you're earnings, they clearly don't make you happy and nobody actually cares. Go and troll somewhere else and leave the 'children' alone

      • OP I get what you're trying to say: Buying these emotes only helps fulfill these large company's greed, and gives them more ground to stand on when they use easy money grabbing tactics in the future. Hundreds of companies do similar sneaking tactics all to make the consumer spend more. Ever been to a check out in a shop and there's chocolate/sweets right by it which are on offer? But at the end of the day, who cares man? Honestly? These kids spending their money on emotes doesn't really affect you does it? How people choose to spend their money is really their business and no one elses. Many could argue why we fcuking spent £120 on Destiny and its dlc's when it has no real purpose in our lives, and that £120 could easily be spent elsehwhere right? Wrong! We bought all Destiny for what ever personal reason, we chose to part with our money for something which was unlikely to significantly benefit our lives, and we all did it gladly. Just like the people who have bought emotes, they did it for whatever reason with their own cash, and good for them I hope they enjoy that 3 second emote

      • I don't give a flying flip about emotes or spending money on games and how any one person should or shouldn't.... You need to get real man. Stop lying about yourself on an Internet forum to make you feel better about yourself. You need to find some real life self worth my friend. The Internet is not a good place to search, and lying is not a good way to find it.

        • It is a form of art. I don't mind people paying absurd amounts of money for paint splatters on a canvas. If that is something that they consider beautiful then good for them.

        • They're already stated they see a future for DLC and micro-store sales working side by side in future now... oh boy, DLC expansions that require buying all items from the micro-store first to unlock permission to buy the DLC, or the reverse, sounds too farfetched that it'll never happen, i know.... But... hey in the realm of taking advantage of the suckers, i see this being a thing, sadly.

This is nothing. I've spent about €100 on Planetside 2 because I wanted cool looking camo and lights/horns on my vehicles. Really, why do you care? It doesn't have an impact on you in any way.

        • Life is what you want it to be be. If you have the money and you want a character in a game to dance, then buy that dance if it's what you want. The view of anyone else on the matter is irrelevant.
