Dear Bungie, I am writing to you today because we have spent countless hours of talking amongst ourselves in orbit about this. every time our clan gets divided in a class war it ends with "if Bungie would just...". at least 5 times a week I hear "if we could only...","it would really help if I could..." what? you probably wonder. well, private crucible matches. an entity of crucible separate from the game's leveling, grimore, bounties, etc.. a mode where we can set the match rules, modifiers, game type, and map. a way for us not to make any gains but the self satisfaction of going 6 against 3 Clash with the s**t talkers in the clan. a way to take our crucible teams and pit them against each other, so we can point out each others weak points, to grow as a clan. a way to blow off steam against some dumb AI after a hard day at work. As I sit here typing this I bet you have something in mind, but year two is here and this seems like a great time. We propose this as a way to not only give clans and competitive friends a tool, but to give year 2 Christmas noobs a mode they can jump into crucible right away and not get plastered to the wall. a breakdown of what we propose: Private Crucible lobbies (NOTHING Achieved in this mode will contribute to ANY stats.) ability to change modifiers (arc, void, solar burns, radar, over shields, etc..) ability to turn on/off whether light level matters ability to change the map ability to change game mode (Clash, control, Rumble, Rift, etc..) Additions we would love to also see but not needed for success: ability to save these game variants we setup. Guardian AI Players with various choose able difficulties (maybe built like some Bungie Guardians) ability to add Enemies (like a hoard of thrall and 6 knights in the middle of a rumble match with your buddies <--- who wouldn't find that fun?) ability to set time/score limit as I have said we have spent many hours talking amongst our clan about this. pros and cons. but every con i.e. people boosting and/or cheesing bounties and quests. is "solved" by making this mode separate from regular gameplay. we would still like to use our weapons and armor and subclasses as is... but we don't need or want XP or guardian kills. we just wanna take our year one raid gun and teach each other a lesson when light matters without ruining iron banner. we just want to put our top three against our 6 up and comers in a clash match. WE JUST WANT SIX MAN RUMBLE!!!! so to you Bungie I ask "Is this something that will eventually happen? Or, do we have to keep switching games to achieve this type of gameplay?" and to all you other guardians out there...."Who's with me!?!"

 • I think the private lobby is a very good idea it would be a good way for people to practice the different crucible play lists and have fun with your friends to just blow off some steam. So I would have to say I am definitely for the private lobby so please bungie make this a reality this would be a step in the right direction to giving the destiny community what we have been waiting for.

 • And advanced settings to change the game's balance too! Think about it, people won't have to complain about normal crucible when they can call in some pals, tweak some damage falloff, stats, ammo spawns... or even make custom weapons. Imagine it. Rift with +30 points in everyone's agility and only legendary swords. Grifball anyone?
