Hi Shameless, I went off on your clan in general yesterday and had a conversation with Karza about the validity of a gender specific clan. After I had some time to calm the hell down and sleep on it, I realized that my dissapproval was misdirected altogether. What really upsets me is the fact that asshat little boy gamers have treated female gamers so poorly and with such disrespect that a clan like yours becomes necessary. If the goal of a ladies only clan is to provide a safe and insult free place for female gamers to play, then what that tells us is that the general population of gamers, which is majority male, has failed to provide that kind of environment for their female counterparts. This is simply shameful and unacceptable. At first glance I saw your clan as being some kind of female empowerment, men suck, group. I can now see that your clan exists to help girl gamers avoid the ignorance of adolescent boys experiencing puberty for the first time. There are a lot of these kids out there in the Destiny community and I dont even like playing with them and Im a 31 year old man. I can only imagine what these kids put girl gamers through, so it makes sense that after a while one would come to the conclusion that this community is toxic and take steps to protect your own gaming experience. After all playing games is supposed to be fun! Anyways thanks for bearing with me through my rant and eventual understanding.
