Do you believe we should be able to wear our old class items and still be the same light? I understand Bungie's reasoning for wanting to 'move on', but honestly, class items made us different and now, more than half of the class items that made us unique are, useless.
I miss using my cloak of the order in endgame activities, but now I can't. I wish I had cloak of the justicars, but aside from that, what is your opinion?

I wish that we could both "move on" while retaining our past. Inspect me. You will see the glorious weapons from our past that have claimed countless lives. Now look to what I have available, and you will see weapons with the potential to claim countless more. If they were to be used in tandem, you would see a whirlwind of glory and gunfire that would always end in a pile of bodies and a pool of oil, dust, ether, or blood. Its not just the Class Items that make us unique, but the armor and weapons we use that define us and how we fight.

I miss the old gear. Current gear for factions is underwhelming. Tbh, the FWC sniper rifle was amazing in PvP, but now it is just two fusions. DO got good weapons (cough, hungry Jew, cough) considering DO is asking Guardians to do the opposite of what they were resurrected for. And New Monarchy had stunning weapons, Prudence II and many others. Now we have a pretty nice auto rifle and a decent shotgun. None of the faction weapons are 'bad' but they are all very very situational now.

Indeed. I wish I could sell the old weapons, but due to the fact that they are no longer produced, we have the last ten of every unsold past weapon in existance stored in our armory. Even so, they are of no use niw but for Nostalgia...

I too miss my time in the Justicars. However we must accept that in order to progress we need to look to the future. The past is something that if not handled with care, will drag you down.

Indeed. However, for... Nostalgic purposes, we are researching Etheric Light to see if we can modify it to take our old gear further...
