PvP is awesome.
I would say the lack of forge is a big disappointment.
Another one of the biggest issues with Halo 5 is the fact that well.... it doesn't have any social gamemodes besides Warzone.
If you work really hard for a rank, will you always have that same energy next time you play each time you log on to maintain that rank?
The rank pairing can be wonky at times also. My friends searched a playlist. You need a minimum of 10 game to qualify for a rank... so I needed one more game while my friends needed a lot. So 3 UNRANKED people go into the Slayer playlist, we get a Platinum I or II on our team... so since the highest rank determines who you play, you get put against people with similar ranks to the highest. So we got sucked into a competitive game against 4 Platinums... while we were unranked. We got demolished, and guess what.... I got qualified for a rank... AND I GOT PLATINUM!
My friend is a Gold 3 in one game type, so we can't play that casually, and my friend who has a -1.6 KD in the SWAT gamemode with 4 out of 11 games won got placed into Diamond Rank... so yep no way in hell can we play matchmaking with him in that gamemode, and my Platinum rank means we can't casual in Slayer.
Now we have 2 gamemodes left:
Free-For-All and Team Arena.
We all need like 8 more matches to get a rank and Free-For-All can only be started with one person per fireteam. So team arena is the only thing we can play if we get tired of Warzone ll.
Definitely needs social playlists and forge with friends.
