I've personally never received negative messages, but how about you guys? Which was the worst?

I got patients and time in crucible after a horrible match and no one got legendary stuff just blues a few Strange coins or motes and when it popped up they told me to go screw myself I only got it cause my kd is bad :/ I was decent

5 RepliesIn my case it was not the words sent but the action and intention behind them. A while back I was running the Weekly Heroic (after matchmaking was implemented). One of the players was dead in a bad spot so we could not revive him. So only 2 left. When we were about to kill the Archon Priest that guy who was alive w/ me sent me a msg and invited me to join on his Fireteam. Since the guy was playing nicely I decided to join him. He immediately booted me and joined a friend of his so they got the rewards after me doing all the work. The same guy who died many times on the first stages of the mission and got revived by me. I sent him a msg saying: "How do you do that man? That is so dirty..." He replied: "Love you too Bro. LOL." Since then I only join Fireteams with folks I know.

7 RepliesNot exactly on topic, but it's related. I had one kid that I met randomly in Skywatch ask me for some help with a mission. I'm thinking.. Okay, I'll bite. He's level 23, I was 40 (light around 280~ at the time). I joined his fireteam and he says "yeah. I just need to do this mission to hopefully get some legendaries or exotics at the end". -He's a squeaker, in case it wasn't obvious. I choose not to burst his bubble, and I say "alright, I can help you out". Dude loads up the Vault of Glass.

I was flattered.

The new thing for salty guardians to do I have found is begin spamming party and game invites after losing to you as if it doesn't take 5 seconds to report and block them lol.

Once me and my buddies were doing salvage on defender. All 3 of us with armor of light and st 14. Once we started getting supers we just kept dropping bubbles over the salvage zone. Enemy team basically couldn't do anything. They were pissed. After the match I get a message saying we play like bitches and we should all die. I had a good laugh.

Guy cursed me out for lag switching because he said his shotgun blast didn't even make me lose my shield. I'm not a lag switcher, he either missed or was using a girly shotgun.

Right when the new emotes came out I got the "come at me bro!" one. So I played control and killed one guy and used it on him (by the way I was doing good that match). After the match I got this long text of him where he was cursing me and said I sucked that game and he laughed. I gave him this whole comeback (I forget how it went) laughed at him, and blocked him.

Never received one but I've had mates who used to play PVP a lot get hate messages for Beating people it was so funny sometimes even voice ones you could tell they were putting the voice on to hide they were either a squeaker or some fat Cartman kid or that guy off WoW episode of South Park eating a huge bag of crisps while his Mum cleans his room for him.

"You suck at this game -blam!-ing go back to cod, can't even win a game without X weapon" Then I swap weapons and reply "I copied your loadout, good luck" Then I win. "Good game. What's cod?" Then it's a toss up between rage quitting and caps lock activated. I've had a few that were like "teach me"
