Well, I've never seen that before! Thanks Bungie! Epic drops for NF Noobs
I was taking a few guys out to do a little Nightfall last night. You know, just your average gamer's Friday night, and I don't think either one of them had ever completed a NF before. Well, all I can say is Bungie pulled out an EPIC drop for us, and it probably got a few more customers for life in the process.
From the Shield Brothers Nighfall last night our three reward drops were:
[b]290 Zhalo Supercell Exotic Auto rifle[/b]
[b]290 Thunderlord Machine gun[/b]
and a
[b]290 Truth Rocket Launcher[/b]
That's pretty damn epic in my book.

Y1 was the best for nightfall I feel, back when exotics made a huge difference. Now it seems legendaries are better, heck I usually don't have one equipped unless it's Telesto for bosses or lots of yellows. Y1, it seemed lot all you did was chase those two exotics that never dropped for you. Heck, I chased the Gally two months past the release of TDB doing every chance for exotics on three chars since day one.
