It's not BS when they are all quotes from the book. You may be misunderstanding the issue. The way ISIS acts is condoned within the teachings of the Quran. One statement may say that they should respect and be nice and whatnot, but the other aspects of the book say that their sins will be forgiven if they are for the Islamic war.
It's an [i]interpretation[/i] of the book. A legitimate interpretation of the book. You cannot compare their actions with the Quran, and definitively say their sins will not be forgiven. Just as you can't look at the bible, and definitively say the universe wasn't made in 6 days. It's an interpretation.
As long as the Quran exists, there will be people who take a literal interpretation. As long as there are people who take a literal interpretation, there will be extremists who act on it.
