Because theyre religious, and we would be oppressing them if we just mudered them all. And plus, these guys can hold a grudge for 2k+ years so i dont know if we want that kind of bad blood. But honestly i agree. I personally do not think they should be permitted to exist.

If we invaded after we were done we would probably occupy the Middle East for at least a hundred years to try and reshape their society, believe it or not there was a time where the Middle East was peaceful within the past hundred years
And we have done this before, we occupied Japan after WWII for a long time (don't remember how long) and helped make the country become a democracy instead of an empire
Look at Japan now! It's leading in Tech!

I'm talking about a large scale invasion, millions of troops unlike how stupid Obama has just a couple hundred thousand. Does he really expect a couple hundred thousands of troops to make a big difference? Idiot.

How can they hold a grudge if it's mass genocide.

They wouldn't be able to. I'd imagine if we occupy the Middle East it wold be split up into occupying countries who helped to defeat them (US occupies one part, France another, Russia another, etc) that way the whole world could enforce peace and any sort of "grudge" would go away

Youre not going to completely erase them fom existance. Its not possible. Thats why there are still KKK and -godwinslaw!- sects across the world. You really dont want that kind of thing 100 years from now, especially with radicals like isis.
