Only good thing about fallout is that it reminds me of the N64 days Bc the graphics are exactly the same, and makes me reminisce a little. All I keep hearing is story, story, if I wanted a good story I would read a book and not deal with shitty graphics and bad mechanics. Played the game for 10 minutes and I want to shoot myself on how depressing it is.

I understand everyone has an opinion, but it seems like you haven't even given it a chance. Fallout isn't about graphics, but the gameplay is pretty solid compared to previous titles and RPGs. I've literally built an entire city with tall towers, lighting, 20 settlers, attractions, housing. The new introduction of work benches for mods and shops gives searching in the wasteland a purpose to pick up junk. Makes me feel like a scavenger instead of a tank on a quest. Reached level 20 and haven't even started the main story. Enjoying the leveling up system and rewards from perks. The beauty in this game to choose our own paths allows us to play any style we would like. Exploring every area from sanctuary outward has been an awesome experience by getting to know my companions, find unique enemies, and powerful items. Really like the introduction of different weather types, music played, and sound effects used in the game too. Companions and NPC dialog had a complete reworking to make options appear in a wheel instead of list. This helps organize responses and keep conversation smooth. But I love listening to all the holotapes and reading material the most around the wasteland. It helps me understand the whole picture. That is where fallout shines is in the history and lore of the series and the game found throughout the world. TL:DR- this game will actually encourage you to be creative and require thinking to enjoy. If you just like to "point and shoot 'em," stick to a multiplayer based FPS.
