With half a million migrants roaming Europe and IS previously stating they were smuggling themselves in with the migrants it was bound to happen sadly. Hungary had the right idea of fenced borders. Before anything is said, they aren't refugees if they are burning down border controls and damaging buildings. The true refugees are still in turkey, Greece and Italy. I agree, there's a war coming and everyone will be involved, wherever you are.

That is part of the problem. Terror is not a person, group, faction or country. The WAR needs to be declared against a specific person, group, faction, or country for the funds to be appropriately applied and our efforts focused. As it stands a social media threat about punching someone at school tomorrow is classified as terrorism in the US. Money was tossed out hand over fist all across the country in the war on Terror...money that should have been used to cut the head off the snake. BTW - war was never declared by congress. The war on terror is no different than the war on drugs in the way it is handled in D.C. That could change if we declared war on ISIS/ISIL.

The worst is yet to come. There been a lot of dwelling on the subject and a lot of words said. Politicians may be claiming that we are at war with terror and if that was the case, why have a million or so people been allowed to roam unchecked across Europe from known regions of terrorist organisations?

I was in the US Army; We formally declared that war then and have been at a state of war ever since

Mate 9/11 and the months after are a sad point in time and while a war may have been declared, if the world got together and wiped it out there and then, we wouldn't have situations now where France is being attacked again within a year, a mob roaming Europe, Syrians killing their own people and all of the other attacks and plots in between.

More could of been done. What's terror? How do you declare war on it? 14 years later and we know who these people are, now is the time to stand and do something about it. Help the Syrian people reclaim their homes. Make our towns and cities safe again for everyone. Eliminate the possibility of seeing a person on the tele being publicly executed. I know what you are saying and I'm with you chap, unfortunately the war on terror hasn't achieved a great deal to date.

We aren't going to get anywhere with this my friend. I can see your point and where you're coming from, I've made my point. I don't see where you are going with your last post so I'll leave it there. One day the threat will be gone, but simply declaring a war on terror isn't the answer. Finding those responsible and holding them to account, that's worth pursuing. Take it easy fella
