Skill? Yes, I'm curious how can I measure my ability to sit on the couch in my pj's and push buttons better than everyone else? This is something that concerns me.
Perhaps when we push the buttons effectively the console could spit out a food pellet, let's call it an engram.

Will it increase me k/d ratio if I do? I want to push the buttons better than everyone else so the box will light up in such a way to reflect symbols I deem desirable. Then I can brag and call myself elite. The light up box would then be my proof.

No reason you have to rain on other people's parade, let them have their fun. Sometimes, that's all people have. What does it effect you if they're happy about their k/d.
