I personally like to mix it up. I've had good drops from the taken event bosses, in Skywatch when the enemies move, on the Dreadbaught when they move, from stories and from strikes. It seems the daily heroic stories gave been good to me. But mostly just mixing it up. I'm guessing there's different tables for different ways and maybe (again guessing) you have better chances when hitting a table you haven't hit recently?
