It's content I paid for. I'd like to be able to use it whenever I want no matter what the activity is if I chose to do so. I've begun deleting my year one weapons, but I'm holding on to the ones that are impossible to reobtain.

Same, I did the VoG for no time to explain and got hezen vengeance. It's in my vault with all my other year one raid weapons, just waiting for the chance to be used.

I deleted that one because it's easy to get. I deleted my extra fate fingers, but I'm still using my last one for Poe and patrol. I'm also holding on to praetorian foil because that joker took me about 40 hard raids to get. I'm holding on to my LDRs, against all odds, venation III, plug one, matador, valedictorian, another NiTc, and a few others until I know beyond a reasonable doubt, that they will never be upgradeable.
