I don't defend it but if everyone had everything was obtainable day 1 we would lose interest in like 2 weeks so I suppose it is a solution though not a good one. Actually new content like that'd be great but I see the logic and understand new content is hard to create

We are almost on day 60 and still only half of the exotics are available. I get that not everything should be obtainable on day one but we are on day 56........at this rate they will release the new exotics just in time for the next DLC that will render them obsolete anyway

And then when they do release then they will drop them at 290 light instead of 310 (like they should) and we will have to grind them up to 310-320 if we wanna use them

The problem is though that they didn't TELL us half the exotics we purchased were being delayed. And I just don't think that tactics like that will save the falling player base. With better games coming with better value, all Bungie can do is try to make their own game better. Not just cut out content and release it periodically as "free" updates as they wallow in hundreds of millions of microtransaction profits. They need to take that money and invest it into 20 new programmers in the live team, so glitches don't take upwards of weeks to fix. Vertigo and quiver are STILL missing, and they should be very simple fixes. I know I'm going off on a tangent here, but what I'm saying is taking out massive chunks of content as spreading it out as "new" isn't going to work forever. The taken King should've had the advertised 18 AND more should have been released over time if they really want to suck people in.
