I was on that side of the fence originally. It made sense to me to balance the game out a bit. And get rid of weapons that end up being a requirement to find groups. But now 2 months in, I'm pretty bored of the game, and it's because of the loot. Those coveted weapons, the Icebreaker, the Ghally, Vex, etc... those things were what drove the game. And now that all the weapons are more or less balanced, the game has lost me a bit. I've come over to the other side of the argument.
