A lot of really good points here. HoW was so promising. It gave you so many options and opened up the entire game. It didn't restrict you to just the DLC content. If they would have expanded on HoW mechanics with TTK this game would be beyond amazing. I'm in the same position, I was super sick last week and couldn't play anything. Now that I'm feeling better I don't actually have any motivation to get back on Destiny. It's weird, that hold it has on me has vanished. I played a little trials, and did one of my nightfalls over the weekend. I got a useless ghost shell, so I didn't even bother doing the other two. Don't need legendary marks so I have no need for the strikes or dailies. I helped some friends finish their first normal mode raid, an was reminded just how terrible the drop system is. I didn't even do a HM raid last week. I still haven't finished HM, but I don't really have any desire to, after experiencing just how terrible the rewards are it's not feeling worth the effort. I was interested in doing the faction quests but I'm at the mercy of RNG, I still don't have shaders from two factions ranked past 20, and now with the horrible xp rate to rank up I've lost interest. I've never gotten a ship from any faction. I bought a couple masks for the festival, but of course I didn't receive the ones I wanted, just duplicates of the same masks I'd been receiving, I didn't even get any glue. I must of gotten a Petra mask like 10 times. Thats right, RNG is worse then its ever been, why would these be different? I regret it. My intention was to support the game I love, an I loved Destiny. I thought for sure I'd always stick with it, but I don't like the direction it's moving in and it just doesn't feel worth the effort anymore. I'm no longer having fun, now it just feels like a second job that's more demanding. Don't even get me started on the infusion system and the terrible way they've handled exotics. It's just all so.....not fun. :(
